The reason you need marketing analysis & search engine optimisation is simple. Most people need both but either don’t know it or think they can’t afford it. Regular market analysis and search engine optimisation are crucial to any business running efficiently and this site shows you why. 

You may find enjoyment in browsing the articles on this site, however the main reason that I created this site is for it to act as a portfolio of the work I have performed for future clients to review. In summary:

  • I am always in search of interesting and rewarding market analysis/ strategy/ research/ web optimization work. The articles on this site showcase some of the innovative work that I have performed and can perform for future clients.
  • Search Engine Optimisation is shown from a practical point of view. This has ranged from performing optimisation on old sites, helping clients create sites and providing regular performance reports and off page optimisation - such as links and article creation and submission.

  • The articles act as mini case studies on many successful blue chip Australian companies. Each company had some form of Sustainable Competitive Advantage and many were very dominant leaders in their industry, for example: Mayne Group (one third of private hospitals); Clipsal (65% of electrical manufacturing); Vision Systems (80% of high end smoke detectors).

There are many versions of what it takes to be a valuable market analyst. The key ingredients are varied industry experience, experience in market research, the ability to analyse various sources of data and create strategic plans, reports and persuasive presentations as needed. Persistence and diligence to find the hidden answers for the sake of the client while being removed from company politics are what provides high value to any business.

The common goal of research / analysis is to maximize business efficiency, increase productivity or drive new product or services development. This website was built to showcase my experience in the field of market analysis and associated fields to prospective clients and to provide interesting articles, source of information for those interested in such things.

Market analysis is one of the most neglected yet critical areas of marketing. It can set a company’s strategic focus, open up new markets or be used to out-compete competitors.
